SUA through the DPRTC demands from all researchers and collaborators to conduct research activities as per SUA Code of Conduct and Ethics so that they comply with principles of preservation of human and animal rights, environment and confidentiality.
SUA being a public University has to fulfill research ethical requirements as per national and international guidelines, policies and standards.
These guidelines include the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC), The International Treaty for on Plant Genetic Resource for Food and Agriculture (ITPGRTA), The International Code of Conduct for Distribution and Use of Pesticides, Tanzanian Animal Welfare Act, 2008, Nuremberge Code & Declaration of Helsinki Code, and many others.
